Act Six is excited to introduce two new Midwest sites in Indianapolis and Chicago in partnership with Shepherd Community Center and Pursue Scholars. This winter, the Indianapolis-Chicago program will select approximately 14 scholars for full-tuition, full-need scholarships at Taylor University.

Shepherd serves more than 500 families (1,000+ individuals) annually through dynamic programming that is designed to nurture the physical, emotional, spiritual, and academic development of those they serve. Through their Continuum of Care, they offer comprehensive services from birth through adulthood. Their programs include emergency/basic services, preschool/early elementary, after-school and summer programming, college access, mentoring, family relationship programming, health/wellness care and more.

Pursue Scholars seeks to serve urban young people by supporting them financially, socially, and spiritually. This vision is realized through helping students access useful information for getting to college, providing significant college scholarships, supporting students relationally in college, and offering them a network to assist them in pursuing their career goals.

Founded in 1846, Taylor University is an interdenominational Christian liberal arts college where faith, living and learning are integrated.
