Amber graduated from A.C Davis High School and attended Heritage University where she completed her bachelor’s degree. She is one of the very first recipients of the Act Six Leadership Scholarship in the Yakima valley. She spent most of her undergraduate career working in multiple departments at Heritage University where she supported students from first generation to low income. She is excited to continue to mentor and be an advocate for the next generation of leaders. She believes in giving back to the community and breaking the odds. While being active on campus and in the community, she balances it all out for her son Jaiden. She directly applies her passion and commitment with Act Six through the Yakima Leadership Foundation.
Catti attended Yakima Valley College before transferring to the University of Washington Bothell where she completed both her bachelor and master degrees. She has spent the past several years as a recruiter and academic advisor for the CAMP program at UW Seattle. She comes to us with not only the passion to see first generation, low-income students thrive in the college or university environment, but also the experience and skills to make that happen. Catti is thrilled to return to her roots in the Yakima Valley with her husband and their son, Julian.
