Taylor is a Seattle native and graduate of Franklin High School. She earned a B.A. in English/Creative Writing from Seattle University in 2013. With a passion for higher education and supporting underrepresented students, Taylor plans to pursue a career in student affairs in the future. Having served a first term of service working with Lincoln High School students through MDC, she is excited to serve with Act Six through the Urban Leaders in Training initiative.
As Tacoma-Seattle Act Six director, Noah provides direction in all programmatic aspects of the Tacoma-Seattle initiative and guides the selection, training and support of Tacoma-Seattle scholars. Before Act Six, Noah spent six years leading Northwest Leadership Foundation‘s Urban Leaders in Training AmeriCorps program, guiding diverse groups of young adults through a year of service and learning among Tacoma’s marginalized communities.
Growing up in a military family, Jerry-Lee lived in many places but was raised in Washington where he graduated from Graham-Kapowsin High School. A recent graduate from Pacific Lutheran University, Jerry-Lee received his B.A. in Sociology while also minoring in Chinese Studies. His journey to be with Act Six began when he discovered his passion for leadership, higher education, and helping youth.
