Act Six Announces 57 New Scholars in Washington and Oregon

Amid a continuing national economic struggle, families of 57 diverse urban student leaders across Washington and Oregon have new reason for hope and celebration this winter.

The Act Six Leadership and Scholarship Initiative announced this winter that 57 emerging urban leaders across Tacoma, Seattle, Spokane and Portland will receive full scholarships to Whitworth University, Pacific Lutheran University, Northwest University, Gonzaga University, Trinity Lutheran University, George Fox University and Warner Pacific College. Collectively, the scholarships will provide nearly seven million dollars in financial aid over four years.
