Act Six Scholar Helps Lead 'Teach-In' on Immigration
Rather than walking out of school along with thousands of students around the nation, incoming Act Six scholar Marco Garcia, Tacoma Whitworth Cadre Four, helped lead a "teach-in" to create awareness while educating 300 of his peers at Clover Park High School in Tacoma on the experience of emmigrants and the issues at stake in the current national immigration debate.
